Overnight oats with Berries and Almonds

Summers are refreshing with so many fruits and berries to choose from. Ever since we moved to the States, berries have gotten a special place in the pantry. Summers are bright and all you want are refreshing cool delights. I eat Oats in the form of Oats chilla, the Indian way or overnight oats with Berries and Almonds. And what better when you can have your summer breakfast in no time with all your favorite berries.

So here goes the recipe of the no cook Overnight oats with berries and almonds:

Ingredients for Overnight Oats with Berries and Almonds:

  1. Old fashioned Rolled Oats: 1 cup
  2. Plain Whole Milk Yogurt: 1/4 cup
  3. Milk (you can use any type of milk): 1/2 cup
  4. Almonds: Handful of almonds sliced or chopped
  5. Blue berries – 1 cup
  6. Strawberries – 1 cup, sliced
  7. Honey – 2 tbsp

Steps of Preparation of Overnight Oats with Berries and Almonds:

  1. Mix the Old fashioned rolled Oats, Yogurt and Milk in a bowl or mason Jar and store in the refrigerator for over night. It can be stored for 2-3 days.
  2. Next morning, top the soaked creamy oats with berries and nuts.
  3. Finally, added 1 tbsp honey on top of each serving.
