Dates fixed!! Finally the dates are fixed… I am about to marry.. And the timeline seems stricter than any project release.
So many things need to be sorted.
- Parlor needs to be booked for pre-bridal and bridal make up.
- Mehendi, sangeet, wedding and reception; all the attire needs to be selected and sent to the designer for stitching.
- Jwellery needs to be teamed up with the clothes.
- Gym needs to gear up to remove those extra gluey fats.
- Need to call that best friend of mine, she needs to know the entire story.
- No need of letting those three stinky girls know, they are gossip-mongers.
Uff!! I am getting married!! My dad’s princess, momma’s baby!!
Sob!! Sob!!
Oh need to mention the team and my manager. Will he approve my leaves? Or I am late for it already?
Crazy!!
All these were my situation during the last year when my wedding dates got fixed. But my botheration was that the skin needed that extra glow so that I look a lovely bride. All these pressures were making me browse to some internet products, when one of my close friends suggested, let’s go to the cafeteria and grab a “Carrot Almond Shake” that’s the best beauty recipe for me.
Somewhat I didn’t believe him, but when I tasted it for the first time I loved the texture and taste and that made me have it almost every time and try it myself with my variation to make it my own for a long time to come.
The Carrot almond shake recipe goes like this:
Ingredients:
- Carrots – 2 medium sized
- Milk – 200 ml
- Badam powder – 2 tsp (optional)
- Almonds- 4-5 pieces
- Sugar – 2 tbsp
Steps of Preparation:
- Cut the carrots into small pieces and grind into paste. Don’t use water, let it grind on its own.
- After it has smoothened to a paste, add the milk and almonds to the ground carrots.
- I used MTR Badam Powder, you can use any other brand. This actually gives a distinct flavor. You can skip this step in case you are not with Badam powder.
- Add the sugar and ice cubes and grind it for 1-2 mins.
- Then shake would come in lighter orange color.
It’s a Vitamin A rich carotene loaded yummy drink. A must try!! This would make you believe healthier things do come in tasty packages. 🙂
